Jammu, Dec 25: On the occasion of 87th birthday former Prime Minister and BJP stalwart Atal Behari Vajpayee, activists of Jammu Mahanagar BJP led by district president Rajesh Gupta distributed stationary items and sweets in Bal Niketan in Ved Mandir.
Rajesh Gupta, on this occasion, said that persons like Atal Behari Vajpayee were institutions in themselves and who were a source of inspirations for others who want to progress in life and leave a mark for others to follow.
He said the simplicity in life, high principles and commitment towards the common people and concern for the national interests took Atal to such heights in Indian politics for which one can only dream.
