| Science & Technology exhibition organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 25: G L S Public School today organized Science & Technology Exhibition- ATeller 2010.
R. S. Chib, Minister for Sports & Medical Education was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the exhibition.
R. S. Pathania, advocate, senior vice president, J&K State Youth Congress was the Guest of Honour.
Other dignitaries included Rajinder Singh, principal, Govt. Medical College, Harbans Singh, ex- vice chancellor, SKAUST and. Kashmiri Lal Bhat, advocate.
The exhibition comprised of 3 sections that included showcasing of 20 models covering various topics of Science and Social Studies like Rain-water Harvesting, Communication Systems, Hydro and Thermal Power Plants, Rock Formation, Advancing Villages in India, Irrigation and challenging issues faced by people around the globe like Pollution & Global Warming.
The second section of the exhibition showcase more than 100 class subject based projects, made by students of junior classes.
Educomp SmartClass, which uses interactive white boards & projectors to display more than 30,000 animated 2D and 3D course modules will also be a part of the exhibition.
These module cover almost all subjects from Class Nursery to Class 10th.
Almost 500 guests visited the exhibition and encouraged the students by appreciating them for the hard work done by them.
