| Absconder arrested after 23 years | | |

Two absconder involved in different cases were arrested by Gandhi Nagar police here today.
As per reports SHO Gandhi Nagar Gian Sharma on a tip off arrested a person namely Sudesh Kumar S/o Late Vishwanath R/o Shibu Chak, Bishnah involved in some snatching case from Lakhanpur where he was working in a local shop. The accused was absconding fro the last 23 years. A case under FIR No 409/1983 u/s 382 RPC has already been registered against him. Police today produced him in the court, which sent him to district Jail.
Meanwhile police arrested another absconder after seven years identified as Surinder Singh S/o Late Jeevan Singh R/o Preet Nagar, Digiana. A case under FIR No. 401/1999 u/s 354,341 RPC has already been registered against him. Court sent him to district jail Jammu.
