Border Police books four persons under Excise Act

JAMMU NOV-06-Continuing its drive against the illicit liquor trade, the Border Police Jammu under the Supervision of Rajinder Gupta Senior Superintendent of Police conducted raids at Miran Sahib and R S Pura and booked four persons under the Excise Act.
The reports said that during its raid at Miran Sahib, the Police arrested two persons namely Amarjeet Singh son of Jeet Singh and Kirtan Singh son of Ram Singh residents of Singhpura Murallian and were booked under section 50-A of Excise Act. One motor- cycle driven without documents were seized under section 207 MV Act.
In R S Paur two persons Ravi Kumar son of Paltoo Ram and Abhimanyu son of Shanker Nath both residents of Chatisgarh involved in illicit liqor trade were also taken into custody for questioning.
