| ABVP Kathua unit elections held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA Dec 25: The Akhil Bhartya Vidyarthi Parishad organized a programme to celebrate the victory of the college president election and also to honour the newly president activist of ABVP Akhil Gupta.
The new president got 42 votes and gave the defeat to other candidates Harpreet Kour and Kulbir who got seven and six votes respectively. On the occasion the BJYM activists Inder Singh Sambyal and Gopal Dass Mahajan warmly felicitated the newly elected president and the entire team of ABVP for this achievement by defeating the candidates.
They said that only the ABVP organization which fights for the cause of students of the country with true patriotic spirit. In his address the ABVP to the activists the president Akhil Gupta Mahajan said he would fight for the cause of students' rights as a matter of priority and their welfare would be the prime concern while inculcating the nationalistic approaches. In the program the Varinder Singh, Manmohan, Kushi Ishant, Sahil Sharma, Amit and Sandeep were present.
