JAMMU, DEC 25- Coalition government is making all out efforts to provide all civic amenities to the all sections of society at their doorsteps. He said that a proposal for inclusion of left out colonies of his constituency into Municipal Corporation is under active consideration with Housing and Urban Ministry stated Minister for Revenue and Relief Raman Bhalla
after laying the foundation stone of park strip along canal at Greater Kailash, which would be developed on modern lines at an estimated cost of Rs. 1 crore in providing pathway, seating, illumination, irrigation, view point and landscaping facilities.
Bhalla said that a comprehensive plan has been prepared for developing every nook and corner of the State particularly peripheral areas of the State at par with urban pockets. To reduce traffic congestion on Marbel market to Greater Kailash road, he said that
Government is planning to construct double-lane flyover in the area, for which Government Rs. 9 crore detailed project report has been submitted to R&B Ministry for funding. For improving the drinking water facilities in the Greater Kailash and its adjoining areas, he said that Government has earmarked Rs. 3.5 crore for digging of 1 lakh gallon discharge capacity tube well including laying of water supply

Earlier, at Dharam lane in Preet Nagar, the Minister announced Rs. 10 akh for laying of water supply pipes in uncovered areas of the locality adding that on the completion of work, about 250 residents of Preet Nagar would be benefited.
