| | | lWe want to make it clear to the police that no Bar in Jammu city has deployed armed persons to recover money from customers who sometimes refuse to pay the bill. At the Royal Bar, Gandhi Nagar two unidentified goons declined to foot the bill last night. Such situations often occur in bars as after consuming liquor in excess, people lose their nerves and refuse to pay. However, the Bar management cannot direct their staffers to extract money from the defaulters on gun point or showing a Khokhri (a sharp edged weapon). Perhaps, police is also aware of the fact that no Bar in city has made such arrangements and it has wrongly booked three staffers of Royal Bar for allegedly stabbing the duo, who did not pay the bill amounting to Rs 400 and instead threatened the employees of dire consequences if they demanded money from them. lWe are doing business for the last so many years but never came across such peculiar situation. As a part of business dealings, one has to borrow, lend or give credit to traders or customers. Even we have to take huge amount of money from our creditors and it could be cross checked that whether we ever threatened, intimidated or used abusive language against any one of them. We always remain open, transparent and fair while dealing with our business associates as well as our customers. Doubts, if any, in this regard can be clarified from the concerned quarters. |
