| Jalmeria expresses shock over loss of lives | | Macchedi Matador accident | |

Jammu, Dec 26: Harichand Jalmeria Senior leader and spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party have expressed deep shock and grief over the loss of precious lives and injuries to other passengers traveling in a matador which met with a accident near Macchedi in district Kathua yesterday.
He in a statement has held the state government responsible in this regard, as conditions of roads especially in hilly areas has gone from bad to worst, and no attention paid to improve their conditions beside, he said buses plying on those roads are always found over loaded. He said this is case of great neglect beside discrimination against the people living in these areas. He on behalf of JKNPP demanded ex-gratia relief of Rs Five lakhs to the next kins of those killed and Rs one lakh for injured persons.
