| PHE employees to hold dharna on Dec 28 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU DEC 26: PHE Employees United Front has decided to hold protest demonstration against the government at all district headquarters on December 28 in case their demands were already agreed by the government were not implemented by December 27.
In the meeting of the senior leaders of the Front held at Jammu on December 25, it was unanimously decided to go ahead with the scheduled programmes of protests and dharnas at all district levels to force the state government for the implementation of their demands .which were. PHE employees are demanding Rs. 110%- per day for all sorts of PHE workers instead of existing Rs.500/ 700/ and Rs. 900/- etc,remaining 1 and a half days existing pay be released, transfer of the 4th class employees be made at section level instead of Sub Divisional level.They have also demanded higher pay scales given to the employees as per SRO- 149 &49 , employees be regularized and new vehicles be purchased against the old condemn vehicles for the smooth running of the department.
The prominent leaders of the front those who have attended the meeting are Subash Verma, Vijay Lutha, Kulwant Singh, Swarn Singh, Ramn Kumar, Onkar Sharma, Kartar Chand Dubey, Ravi Kumar and Manjoot Ali.
