Khajuria gets beatification of Dargah started

Jammu, Dec 26: Ashok Khajuria,MLA BJP alongwith party district. president Rajesh Gupta, on Sunday got the work to fix cemented interlock tiles in the premises of centuries old Peermitha Sahib Dargah started.
The work is being undertaken by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Ashok Khajuria, while speaking on the occasion, said that Peermitha Sahib Dargah is a symbol of secularism in Jammu city and the same is clear from the fact that this religious place is visited by our Hindu brothers and sisters, who pay their obeisance alongwith their Muslims brethens.
He said as this place is rushed by the people, there is need of proper flooring and provision of basic amenities in its premises.
“Being an elected representative of the area, it is my duty to ensure that the problems of the people are solved and equal treatment is given to all the people and faiths, Khajuria said.
He also went around the other parts of the complex of Dargah and was briefed about some urgent works to be undertaken.
He assured the Dargah head and other local residents that he will personally take up what they have brought into his notice and see to it that whatever is possible is done for the beautification of this Dargah.
Earlier, Ashok Khajuria and Rajesh Gupta were given a warm reception and they were garlanded by the prominent local residents.
Head/Majabeer of Dargah Rashid Ahmed, Afaq Azmi, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Ashiq Hussain Khan, Ramesh Sharma, Anjum Hussain Qazmi, Sanjiv Gupta, Kanta Devi, Dhan Swaroop, Qasir Mir, Ram Lubhaya, Chaman Lal, Zulfiqar, Raj Kumar, Kuldeep Sharma and Manu Manav Mahajan were present on the occasion.
