| Unemployed youth being harassed in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 26: Unemployment is serious problem which the youth of state especially those belonging to rural areas are facing.
If the unemployed youth take corrective measure, they have to overcome hurdles and are at times forced to stop even making efforts for the same. During an interaction, Early Times learnt from a group of villagers namely Joginder Paul, Sat Paul, Hemet Singh, Bageal Singh, Sham Singh, Kaka Singh, Dr. Ashok, Mohan Singh, Bajinder Singh, Jatinder Singh, Vijay Singh, Rajesh Sharma and Karan Singh that villagers are in favour of establishment of stone crushers of these local unemployed youth.
According to locals, a few educated unemployed youth tried to establish stone crushers along Ravi River and for that fulfilled all the requisite formalities. They added that after scrutiny of all the documents, administration of Kathua approved the file for the establishment of their self-sponsored units in the form of stone crusher units.
While the unemployed crusher applicants have produced written no objection documents signed by more than two hundreds nearby villagers in the presence of Ex-Sarpanch of the village Gandyal Rajesh Sharma and the ex-Sarpanch Karan Singh of Kidia, the same is being delayed. Villagers have regretted that few unwanted elements are trying to sabotage establishment of stone crushers.
