| PDP aghast over Govt failure | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 27: Lambasting State Government for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Sartaz Madani today said that miseries of the people have increased manifold after formation of National Conference led regime in the State.
Addressing a public meeting at Rajouri, Madani said that State has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to wrong policies of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, whose inability to connect himself with the people would prove disastrous for the State. He said that during the last two years this regime has done nothing to solve problems of the people. “What to say to mitigating woes of the masses, this regime has further compounded miseries of the people due to its wrong policies”, he pointed out and added this regime has proved total failure in its two year tenure.
PDP district president and MLA Darhal, Choudhary Zulfikar in his address said that National Conference was mother of all problems, “Whenever this party come to power, alienation of people increases because one and the only aim of this party is to enjoy the power by bartering wishes and aspirations of the people”, he said and maintained that the present regime headed by Omar Abdullah has been befooling the people by making one after another promise.
