| Cong slogan of eradicating corruption mere eyewash: AJKMPJ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 27: All J&K Movements for Peace and Justice (AJKMPJ) held a press conference to make deliberations that the real intentions of Prime Minister and UPA chairperson towards the eradication of the corruption is totally an eye wash for the citizens of India.
Addressing the media persons in the meeting AJKMPJ members alleged that the central government is not accepting the demands of JPC because of the reason that their members were also engaged in the scams. This was observed by them after the statement made by Commonwealth organizing committee Kalmadi who said that he was not singly taking all the decisions.
The members also put a light on the scams held in J&K state including the G.M Saroori scam. They added that authorities cannot suppress the voice of discontentment and resentment against corruption.
Narrating about the removal of R.P Sethi and not granting extension to Prof.Desh Bandu Gupta, they said that honest officers are often not desired by the government.
They added that till no other person for the post of Chairman of SAC is appointed by the government which shows its carelessness.
AJKMPJ demanded that the chairman of State Accountability commission (SAC) and Information Commission (IC) should immediately be appointed.
Deep Singh-a social activist, Om Prakash, G.S Charak, Om Raj Bhalla, K.K Rao and many other members of AJKMFPJ were present there at the meeting.
