| CCI urged upon for opening temple gates | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 28: Raghunath Mandir Welfare Committee has once again approached Chamber of Commerce & Industry for opening of Raghunath Mandir temple gate from the side of Hari Market.
The committee led by its chairman Anil Gupta called upon CCI presient Y V Sharma and emphasized that the opening of gate will serve twin purposes i.e it will facilitate the pilgrims and other local devotees to have darshans of the deities in the temple comfortably and secondly it will help the traders of the area to carry out their activities without any problem. Anil Gupta assured the Chamber that no political party has any role to play in this matter. We repose full faith in the leadership of the Chamber to take up this issue with the authorities, he said . Anil Gupta also regretted the participation of political parties earlier in this issue.
He said that this issue required the intervention of the apex business organization of the business community and requested president YV Sharma to take up this issue with the senior authorities of the government to get problem resolved at the earliest.
