| NSS special winter camp inaugurated | | | EARLY IMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 28: Special winter camp both in morning and evening was organized by NSS units of G.G.M.Science College Jammu and was inaugurated by patron NSS and principal of the College M.S.Baloria by lighting of the traditional lamp.
In his inaugurated address he stressed upon the need of organizing such camps during vacations especially which does not hamper with the academic curriculum of the student’s besides making volunteers energetic physically & socially. He appreciated the efforts for such like events.
Later programme officer Rajinder Kumar briefed about the various activities to be undertaken during 10 days camp with special reference to the visits and interaction with the inmates of Bal Ashram& Old Age Home Amphalla Jammu.
After his address NSS volunteers whitewashed the trunks of trees and removed unwanted grass from the college campus and do lot of physical work for the beautification of college campus.
Ram Singh presented vote of thanks. On this occasion senior volunteers Rohit Kumar, Ankush Verma, Navjot Bakshi, Prikshit Bali, Rohit, Rahul Thakur, Atul, Sahil Charak, Anu, Preeti, Rifat, Anjum, Priya, Nishu were also present.
