Cultural Academy releases Khajauria’s Dogri Novel | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 28: In connection with Dogri Manta Divas Academy released a Dogri Novel namely ”Bail” written by Rattan Gopal Khajuria, a renowned Dogri writer of state. Nilamber Dev Sharma, former secretary of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was the chief guest whereas T. R. Sharma special secretary department of culture was the guest of honor. Sharma while complementing to the writer R.G. Khajuria said Dogri literature has become enriched due to the great contribution of the writers who also did long struggle and hardships to bring in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution. He also wished to the all Jammuties regarding the Manta Divas and also thanked the then Govt. of India. He also complimented to the R.G. Khajuria and expressed hope that he would also write some more novel based on this content and form. Rattan Basotra, assistant editor Dogri presented a short and creative research paper on the Novel ‘Bail’ and highlighted the trends contends, form, style, languages used by the writer and termed “Bail” novel as regional novel He also recalled the role and contribution of that entire made struggle to bring the Dogri in the 8th schedule. The vote of thanks was presented by Neeru Sharma, chief editor (Hindi) whereas Brij Mohan editor Dogri conducted the proceedings of the programmes The prominent poets of the state who mesmerized the audience by their poetry included Sanjay Vidrohi, Ayodhya Rani Gamkhar, Shakti Singh, Dhian Singh, Lalit Sharma, Ramesh Rahi, Sham Talib, Jugal Kishore Chandan, Yash Pal Nirmal, and Harish Kaila.
