| 35 students get scholarships from HBET | | | EARLY TIMES REPOT
JAMMU, Dec 28:Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust (HBET), Jammu has awarded scholarships to 35 students belonging different areas of Jammu region.
The scholarship distribution programme which started on December 21 concluded today. During the eight-day long event, scholarships near about 2.30 lakh were distributed among the students by the esteemed guests of the Trust.
The scholarships worth Rs 29,820 to 35 students including 27 girls of Saruinsar, Kotili Matkali, Rattan Satwari, Rajiv Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Krishan Nagar and Birpur wer awarded today.
BEE ENN Charitable Society also supported HBET in providing medical services for the school children. Counseling sessions were conducted by the volunteer students of Psychology Deptt, Jammu University. Evaluation tests are also conducted for the students ranging form 1st to 10th. Class prizes are distributed to the students who stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the evaluation test. Refreshment was also provided to the students.
