| ‘Goondaism’ still prevails on JU campus: NCSU | | | EARLY TIMES REPOT
JAMMU, Dec 28:National Conference Students Union (NCSU) has taken a strong notice of yesterday’s incident when a group of outsides entered the examination hall at Law department and beaten up some students who were appearing in the exam.
Addressing media persons on Jammu University (JU) campus here today, Yasser F Khan Secretary NCSU Jammu Province, lambasted the university administration for its failure to protect the students inside the campus and also questioned the presence of police and security personnel, who failed to ensure safety of the students.
Khan alleged that university is spending lavishly for maintaining police and security staff which is a waste expenditure as ‘goondaism’ still prevails on campus.
