2nd edition of "Bal-e-Anka" released | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 28:The latest edition of "Bal-e-Anka", compiled by renowned Urdu fiction writer, critic and research scholar Amin Banjara was released in a simple but graceful function organized by Maikash Kashmiri Literary Society (MKLS) here today. Bal-e-Anka is the second poetic collection of nationally renowned poet Pandit Kailash Nath Kaul Maikash Kashmiri. Speaking on the occasion, compiler of the poetic collection and president MKLS Amin Banjara said that Maikash Kashmiri was a multi dimensional personality and as poet, educationist, thinker, social worker and God fearing person he proved all his qualities. He said that Maikash Kashmiri was accepted Allama Iqbal as his spiritual mentor and the whole poetry of this edition is in the land and form of Allama Iqbal. Prof Vijay Dev Singh, Coordinator M A Urdu, Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu in his address congratulated Amin Banjara for publishing valuable poetry of a great poet of the state Maikash Kashmiri. He expressed his satisfaction over the matter and style of the book and appealed to the state government to incorporate this literary work atleast in schools, colleges and government libraries so that the readers and Urdu lovers may enjoy classical verses of Maikash Kashmiri. Dr Pankaj Srivastav, Associate Professor, Department of Geology, Jammu University in his address said that he deals with lifeless stones for last two decades but not a single stone speaks at any moment but the poets and writers may have some supernatural powers that land and stones sing and speak in their poetry and stories. He further said that he knows Amin Banjara for the last fourteen years and at every moment he found him with books, journals and research papers.
