| Khajuria gets start improvement of Baba Lal lane | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 29: Continuing with developmental works in the constituency, BJP MLA from Jammu East Ashok Khajuria, along with District President Rajesh Gupta, visited Baba Lal street in Jain Bazar area of old city.
Ashok Khajuria got started the improvement of lane by way of paved tiles at the cost of Rs 3 lakh in presence of a large number of local residents and party activists. This work is to be executed by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Khajuria while speaking on the occasion, said that the lane was in very bad condition and there was an urgent need to get it totally improved by way of its complete re-construction. He said that the historic and religious temple of Baba Lal is situated in the area and a large number of devotees visit to pay obeisance daily. Huge rush is witnessed during festivals and the people were facing difficulties while passing through this lane.
MLA assured the gathering on the occasion that he is committed for equitable development of each and every locality of Jammu east constituency and that his doors are open for every citizen, who can visit and put forth any problem which requires immediate attention.
