| DDC inspects development works | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Dec 29: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kathua Zahida Khan inspected various ongoing development works in Kathua today.
The works include improvement and up gradation of road from Kathua to Parole which is being constructed with the estimated cost of 94.65 lakhs and expenditure of Rs 52.43 Lakh has so far been made on this road. The DDC also inspected construction work of causeway in Kathua which is being constructed with estimated cost of 210.20 Lakh and expenditure to the tune of Rs 56.75 Lakh has been incurred so far.
The DDC inspected another causeway which is being constructed with the estimated cost of Rs 226.62 lakh Rs 61.19 lakh has so far been spent on this project.
Zahida Khan inspected Agriculture Mushroom development centre at agriculture complex Kathua being constructed under the estimated cost of Rs 16.50 Lakh and expenditure in the shape of Rs 6.35 Lakh has so far been spent on this centre. She also inspected Chowkidar Hut being constructed under the estimated cost of rs 5.27 lakh Rs 1.95 Lakh so far has been spent. DDC also inspected Gujjar and Bakkerwal hostel late the DDC inspected check dam at Bhaju Nallah being constructed under an estimated cost of Rs 1437 Lakh. An expenditure of rs 264.35 lakh has so far been made on this project. Ms Zahida Khan inspected medical sub centre Badala for which land has been identified. An amount of Rs 27.55 Lakh will be spent on this sub centre. She also inspected medical Sub Centre Khokhyal.
Chief Planning Officer, Kathua and Tehsildar (Head Quarter) accompanied the DDC during the inspections.
