JKCA hosts anti-doping education prog | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 29: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) organised a day-long anti-doping education program, introduced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and undertaken by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), here today. Presented by Dr PSM Chandran, Head of Sports Medicine, Sports Authority of India (SAI), the special programme was attended by coaches, trainers, physiotherapist, team managers and around senior cricketers of the state. During the program, Dr Chandran aware the participants about the history of doping, prohibited drugs, substances and methods as also complication of drugs used, doping control process, rights and duties of players. The resource person also gave demonstration of use of anti doping kit. A short quiz was introduced at the end of the program. The vote of the thanks was presented vice-chairman of JKCA Jammu wing, Shamboo Nath Sharma.
