MD SRTC deliberately delaying implementation of orders: VRS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 29: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees (VRS) Association today alleged that Managing Director of the transport corporation is deliberately delaying the implementation of the order under which the employees who took VRS should be given their remaining arrears. The demonstration was led by President Dev Raj Bali and Surinder Singh who strongly opposed the adamant attitude of the MD SRTC Jammu for not implementing the order in their favour. Bali said that the Government is not implementing the order regarding COLA to the employees/worker of the state owned PSUS. He said that the decision is being implemented to regular employees but VRS employees of SRTC suffering as took retirement on the assurance of the State Government. They assured us that their dues and benefits would be paid in one time besides other funds. They were demanding CP fund interest, pending COLA arrears from 2006 and implementation of the benefits of 6th Pay Commission to VRS employees. Those who addressed the gathering include Balwinder Singh, B V Sharma, Prem Nath, Ashan Elite and D N Sharma The members of All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees (VRS) Association protesting in support of their demand at Jammu.
