Parking restrictions imposed

EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 29: District Magistrate, Jammu, Mr. Sanjeev Verma in exercise of the powers under Section 144 Cr.P.C. has banned parking of any kind of vehicle on the road from Police Station, Peer Mitha to the gate of Deputy Commissioner Office. Any person found guilty in this regard shall be booked under law.
This has been necessitated due to the reason that lot of private vehicles like two wheelers, three wheelers and four wheelers are parked on the road outside in front of the office of Financial Commissioner (Revenue) and Deputy Commissioner office complex resulting in traffic jams and blocking of the entire road right from the Peer Mitha Police Station to Deputy Commissioner office complex. The chocking of the road leads to inaccessibility of any further vehicle into or from DC office during working hours and there is likelihood of vehicular accidents and consequent injuries/ mishap on account of cramped parking.
