| SRTC employees protest against adamancy of MD | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 28: Employees of State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) today held protest demonstration against the adamant attitude of Managing Director (MD) of SRTC Jammu for not implementing the government order regarding COLA to employees and workers of the state owned PSUs (unrevised scales)
The demonstration was held under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali and S. Surinder Singh outside the office of Managing Director of J&K SRTC Rail Head Complex. They expressed surprise over the inability of the corporation to implement the said decision at a time when the government has given funds for the said purpose. SRTC employee have demanded CP fund Interest, release of the ending COLA arrears w.e.f. 2006 to 2010 and Implementation of 6th pay commission to its VRS employees.
S.Surinder Singh, S. Balwinder Singh, B.V Sharma, Prem Nath, Ashan Elite, D.N. Sharma Surat Singh and others were also present in the said demonstration
