Employee again threaten to launch agitation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 29: Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) have strongly condemned negative attitude of state government and PSU employees of the state towards their long pending demands. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that a meeting of J&K Govt Employees Joint Action committee was held at Jammu under the Chairmanships of Khursheed Aalam wherein members said the cabinet subcommittee had agreed in principle for accepting demands of employees and promised that orders will be issued before July 2010. They said that orders for adhoc/consolidate/contractual and daily rated workers have not been issued while nothing is being said about the removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and enhancement in the retirement age. While addressing the meeting, Khursheed criticized government order no. 296-F of 21-12-2010 terming it as against the spirit of agreement reached between state government and representatives of clerical cadre. He added that the state govt has already agreed the demand in the meeting held on 12-06-2010 at Srinagar and it was assured that the order for removal of pay Anomaly of clerical cadre will be issued shortly. In the meeting, it was resolved that government is treating employees as bonded labourers. After the meeting, participants appealed Chief Minister of personally intervene for redressing demands of the government / PSU employees. Other who attended the meeting included Ravi Singh Bhau, Sukhbir Singh, Balwinder Singh, Suresh Sharma, Madan C.K Sudan, Sukhbir Singh, Kulwant , Dev Anand Gill, Dharminder Singh, Ravi Kumar, Abdul Latief Were also present in the meeting.
