Announce Panchayat poll schedule: JKPP

JAMMU, Dec 29: Let youth and women of weaker sections of the society come forward and contest Panchayat elections to ensure speedy growth and development of villages.
This was stated by leader of Jammu Kashmir Panchayat Parishad (JKPP) Nisar Ahmed Kahn in awareness-cum- training programme organized by JKPP at Kalibari in Kathua. Highlighting the role and importance of elected Panchayats in the speedy development and growth of rural areas, Jugal Kishore Gupta said that aspiring candidates must know their tights and responsibilities. He disclosed that such type of awareness programme shall be organized at district and block level.
Dr. Gopal Dass Sharma, member of all India Panchayat council appealed government to announce Panchayat poll schedule at the earliest. On this occasion, JKPP committee of district Kathua, block Barnoti were constituted. Rajinder Khajuria. Rajeev Dutta Subash Chander, Sham, Pram Singh, Bashir Ahmed, Kamal Sharma, Vickey Khujuria , Kamal Metha and Kaman Sharma were other speakers in this awareness programme.
