| SSJAC extend support to physiotherapists | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 24: Jammu- Student Scholar Joint Action Committee today announced full support to cause of agitating Physiotherapists.
While addressing the press conference, Bindusar Abrol said that physiotherapy was one of the most essential components of healthcare system. He added that Physiotherapy is needed in our society as working conditions have changed due to computerization and modernization. He also added that there are vacancies in government departments for these physiotherapists.
Abrol condemned the lathicharge by the police and assured their full support to the agitating Physiotherapists. He urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to intervene in the issue and resolve it as soon as possible. He appealed that government to clear its stand on absorption policy of physiotherapists. Others who were present in the meeting included Aman Mahajan, Amit Takaya, Abhishek Koushal, Jyotsna, Nisha, Meena and Pooja. |
