| SRSS organize ‘Kavi Samelan’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Dec, 30: The Sab Ras Sahitya Sangam (SRSS) organized a ‘Kavi Samelan’ to celebrate the New Year 2011 with great enthusiasm.
On the occasion poets expressed best wishes through their poems. They spread the messages of national integration, peace, harmony among every human being to keep the society towards the development and prosperity.
Through medium of poems they expressed that new year will bring them happiness, peace and prosperity for the Jammu and Kashmir which has been burning in flames for the last more than twenty years, and have incurred huge loss to both economic and lives of the people, and till date almost more than eighty thousands people have lost their lives
including security personnel, militants and general mass of the state.
The famous poet and president of the SRSS S Manohar Singh dedicated his poem seeking peace prosperity and the happiness from god. In the programme poets S.D Singh, Khazoor Singh, Saroz Bala, Sudesh Koshal, Davinder Kumar Som Nath Akela, and Renu Padha were present.
