| Villagers of Panchyat Kidia, Gandyal stage protest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Dec , 30: A joint protest of people of the Panchyat Kidia and anchyat Gandyal against BDO block Kathua for delaying the onstruction work of the 3.5 kilometer road from the village Ram Nagar to Chumber Mehatbpura and further to village Chack Devian and also demanded to separate the village Chumber Mehtabpura, Chack Devian and
other area of the panchyat from present panchyat Gandyal and to formulate the new panchyat.
The protest was led by the member Panchyat Gandyal Sardar Joginder Paul Singh and laid his stress upon the construction of roads from the Ram Nagar Ram Nagar to Chumber Mehatbpura and further to village Chack Devian for which the member of parliament Ch. Lal Singh has already sanction the 10.65 lack through BDO kathua for last one year but not even a penny of this sanctioned amount has been used by the BDO Kathua for the construction of the road.
He further added that the Chumber Mehtabpura, Chack Devian and other area is still not getting the proper and adequate share of development and ignored at large scale in developmental point of view while the rest of the area of the panchyat is totally focused to carry out the developmental activities.
In the protest S. Himat Singh, Bagel Singh, Sat Paul, Puran Chand, Kashim Din, Parshotam Singh, Puran Singh, and Tek Singh were present.
