| Jora calls on Soni | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec , 30: Minister for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora today called on Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ambika Soni at New Delhi and requested for strengthening of infrastructure at the local radio and television station.
The Minister brought into the notice of the Union Minister the non-availability of adequate staff and demanded installation of high powered LPT and VLPT transmitters.
Soni assured Jora that appropriate steps would be taken by the Central Government in this regard.
Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh, Rigzin Spalbar and former Union Minister, P. Namgyal were also present on the occasion.
