Burglars break into 3 shops at Bhaderwah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 30: Despite a round-the-clock police vigil in the hitherto militancy affected Bhaderwah, burglars last night broke into three shops in the town and decamped with goods worth lakhs. The thefts were detected this morning by the shopkeepers when they went to their establishments to open them, according to police sources. From the shop of Manzoor Ahmad Ganai at Khakhal Mohalla, burglars stole cigarette packets and dry fruit, besides other daily use items, the sources added. The thieves decamped with three pressure cookers, three irons, 18 utensils and other costlier items from the shop of Ehsan in the town. From the shop of Shahjan Ahmad Bhat, the thieves stole Rs 16,000 in cash and mobile phone memory cards worth thousands. Cases in this connection stand registered at the Bhaderwah police station.
