| CM for giving fillip to youth activities | | |
Jammu, November 07
A group of students of Bharat Scouts and Guides called on Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here today on the occasion of foundation day of Bharat Scouts and Guides.
Chief Minister speaking on the occasion said that instead of education department, youth services and sports department will henceforth be advised to earmark budget for such activities. He assured that he will advise the finance department to increase the budget of youth services and sports department so that youth activities including that of Bharat Scouts and Guides take fillip and the youth are benefited in a big way. He also emphasized for training youth in various constructive activities.
Mr. Azad also contributed for Bharat Scouts and Guides flag day fund.
Honorary Senior Vice Presidents of Bharat Scouts and Guides Mr. K. A. Ganai and Mrs. Roma Wani were also present on the occasion.
