JAMMU, Jan 01: In a broad daylight theft at Karan Nagar here, burglars today decamped with cash and gold jewellery worth lakhs. Police sources said burglars struck at Ajay Gupta's house at Karan Nagar in the afternoon and decamped with Rs 4,000 in cash, eight
gold bangles, one necklace and other gold items worth lakhs. When the burglary took place, Ajay had gone to work while his wife Pooja had gone to a tailoring shop, the sources added. Police had registered a case in this connection.
