| Charak, Jugal review development scenario | | |
JAMMU, NOVEMBER 07 To review the sector wise progress, Minister for Roads and Buildings Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak and Minister for Rural Development Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma today visited Bhadarwah and took stock of development scenario in the sub-division. The Ministers addressed a gathering and spelled out the programme and policies of the government headed by Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad who is striving hard to take the concept of total development on revolutionary basis in every nook and corner of the state. Several deputations also met the Ministers and projected their demands. Minister for Rural Development Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma highlighted one year achievements of present government and enumerated the bold steps taken for all over development of hilly areas for which finance commission was set up to ensure blanched fund distribution in all districts of the state. He announced release of funds under NREGS and food for work shortly in Bhadarwah. He sought public cooperation for carrying out development agenda to its logical conclusion. Minister for R&B Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak asked the gathering to have close rapport with the government and bring the lapses of administration to the notice of government for corrective measures as people are eyes, ears in a democratic set up. Mr. Mohammad Sharief Niaz ex-Minister also spoke on the occasion. District Development Commissioner, Doda Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Shalinder Kumar were also present on the occasion.
