| Megh Samaj organizes Satsang | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 2: A Satsang was held today at Kabir Mandir, old Rehari, Jammu by Bhagat Mahasabha in which hundreds of people of Megh Samaj from whole of Jammu province participated.
Bhajans and Shabad Kirtan about the teachings of Sadguru Kabir Saheb Ji were sung by Milkhi Ram Bhagat of Gorda. Milkhi Ram Bhagat, Chairman while speaking on the occasion appealed to the Megh Samaj to get united and follow the teachings of Sadguru Kabir Saheb Ji. He further said that backwardness and disunity of Megh Samaj is
because of selfishness, ego, illiteracy and not following the teachings of Sadguru Kabir Saheb Ji.
He further said that it is duty of whole community to contribute in his mission to unite Megh Samaj and appealed to remain vigilant against decisive forces who are working against interest of community. In the end, everyone pledged to free Megh Samaj from social evils like drinking alcohol, smoking, dowry etc and that they will work hard to
spread education among community members. A ten member Satsang and Langar management committee was also formed which will manage all affairs of monthly satsang to be held on first Sunday of every month.
