| Vishal shoba yatra on March 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR JAN 02: To finalise arrangements for the forthcoming Maha Shivratri celebration in Udhampur, a meeting of the Sanatan Dharm Sabha (SDS) was held under the chairmanship of Sabha District president Dr Yogeshwar Gupta.
In the meeting, SDS members decided to take out a Vishal Shoba Yatra on March 1 under the banner of Sanatan Dharm Sabha in order to maintain brotherhood and develop more convivial relations within community and other sections of the society.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Gupta after making common consent Sabha decided to take out a Vishal Shoba Yatra in the town. He added that Shoba Yatra will be started at 2pm on March 1 from Mata Sheetla Mandir Chowk Chabutra . There after a Vishal Shoba Yatra will passes through main Bazar, Gole Market, Mukherjee Bazar, court Road and Slathia chowk, Dhar road and Venus Chowk and shall culminated back to the premises of the Sabha in a traditional manner. Sabha appeal to the all devotees and pubic in general to do join Shoba Yatra along with their families to seek the blessings of lord Shiva on this holly eve. Other who present in the meeting were Sham Saroop Kalsotra, Vikram Singh Slathia, Maan Chand, Bishan Dass, Sunny Mahajan, Jagdev Singh, Bodh Raj, Santosh Malguria, Kasturi Lal,Yash Paul, Dhram Parkash, Papu Master, Shiv Charan Gupta and many more.
