| Clerical staff body to hold black day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Jan 02: The Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Department clerical staff Association has decided to hold black Day against the non- implementation of the agreement between the association and Govt. authorities on March 10, 2008 and July 8, 2008. During the meeting with the representative of the Association, the Chief Secretary also assured that the orders for removal of pay anomalies and to grant pay scale of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant, 4500-7000 to Sr. Assistant / Steno typist and 5500- 9000 to Head Assistant / Junior Stenographer notionally w. e. f 01 – 01- 96 including exemption of secretariat training examination course will be issued within 10 days but unfortunately the same has not been issued till date.
Addressing the press conference, the members rejected the SRO 296 dated 21. 12. 2010 issued by the Govt who have tried to divert the attention of clerical employees from basic demand and have not redressed their basic and genuine pay anomaly.
