NC Minority cell discusses KPs problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 3 A meeting of the J&K National Conference Minority Cell was held at its office at Anand Nagar Bohri, Jammu. In the interaction that took place among various unit heads of the Minority Cell and the Office bearers of the unit for North Kashmir, the problems of Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) were discussed and highlighted. The Chief Guest for the meeting was MLC Sheikh Ghulam Rasool. MLC and President/Patron of the Minority Cell, Vijay Bakaya expressed his gratitude to the Government for the implementation of Employment package for the KP youth and requested the Government to implement the other components of the package like rehabilitation of Industrial Unit Holders, Traders, etc so that the Industrial class can restart their business activities all over again. It was also requested to the Government that the remaining 3000 posts may also be advertised so that the unemployed youth of the Community can settle within the earliest possible time. In his address, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool lauded the role of Kashmiri Pandit Community for nurturing the age old tradition of communal harmony and brotherhood which remained intact even after going through several hardships during the period of exile.
