| JKBA to felicitate meritorious community students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 3: Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Association (JKBA) has decided to felicitate
the meritorious students of the community.
In a meeting of the association held today at Shahzadpur Koti under the chairmanship of Master Krit Pal Lakhotra, the members resolved to honour the community students who obtained ‘Distinctions’ in their J&K BOSE/CBSE Examinations, 2010 in its Annual Function slated to be held from February 18.
On the occasion, the members also congratulated Garib Dass Kaith on his recent promotion as DIG in J&K Police. It also congratulated Inspector Harbans Lal Motan on receiving DGP Commendation Medal and Certificate for hard work, meritorious and dedicated services exhibited by him during the year 2010.
The Association accorded extension to the tenure of Sri Guru Gyagi Foundation which was expiring on February 2010 and to celebrate the 114th Guru Gyagi Jayanti in a grand scale, it constituted a Celebration Committee with Capt Om Parkash Tugga as its Chairman and nine other members
