| DIG distributes Rs 2.5 lacs as reward money in public darbar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Jan 3 To encourage police personnel who have shown high degree of courage and dedication towards duty while fighting militancy in Udhampur district ,Deputy Inspector General of Police Udhampur Reasi Range, Jagjeet Kumar convened a police durbar in District Police Line, Udhampur and rewarded jawans here .
During the darbar, DIG distributed reward to the tune of Rs 2.5 lacs amongst the police personnel of Police Station, Sudhmahadev . He laid emphasized to tackle the new challenges on the security front in district Udhampur.
He also laid stress on adopting new strategy of law enforcing agencies in streets and lanes to combat the forth coming threats. He conveyed new year wishes to the jawans and officers of all ranks of district Udhampur.
The Senior Superintendent of Police, Udhampur, . Surinder Gupta said that the jawans and officers of Udhampur police has faced various challenges at different times and has upheld the honour of the nation.
Among others, Additional SP, Udhampur, Bhupinder Singh, Deputy SP Headquarters, . Suram Singh and officer of other ranks were also present .
