JKSSSC flays BJP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU Jan 3 : Lambasting the Bharatiya Janata Party for their demand of removal of Article 370, J&K State Samaj Sudhar Committee (JKSSSC)said that the BJP was raising the issue to divert the attention of general masses and also to divide the people. Addressing a press conference, state president of the Committee Mohd Yousuf Wani stressed upon the government for early development of theGumat (Upper) Bazar. He further said this area is visited by the pilgrims and devotees from far off places to offer their prayers at religious place Peer Baba . Meanwhile, he also urged the government to enhance the present financial assistance relief to migrant families from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000 per family. Wani has said that those public sector employees who were forcibly retired from the services have been ignored and deprived of the benefits notified by the govt during 2010. He demanded that all such benefits be extended to those employees of public sector who have been forcibly retired during 2008, particularly in J&K industries Ltd. Later, Wani nominated Mr. Naveen Gupta as Chairman of the committee for a period of two years with immediate effect. Prominent among others who were present in the conference included Narinder Paul Choudhary (alias Lonely) Rupinder Singh Goli, Fauaz Ahmad Malik, Rano Muskan Wani, Nazir Ahmad, Mrs. Parvez Sharma, Shamsher Singh and Shadat Hussain, Arun Koli.
