| SAYSS spokesman invited for BJP national conclave | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 3: Keeping in view his patriotic ideology and concern for the national interests in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP at national level has nominated Dr. Jitendra Singh, HOD Diabetoligist, as “Special Invitee” to the BJP National Executive Meet.
Besides Dr. Jitender Singh, a well respected personality & former MP from Ladakh Thumpston Chhewang too has been nominated as “Special Invitee” to the National Executive.
This was disclosed by BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas while releasing the official letters of invitation extended to Dr. Jitendra Singh and Thumpston Chhewang from Party National President Nitin Gadkari in a press conference on Monday at party headquarters alongwith State General Secretary Sat Sharma .
In another separate letter addressed to Dr Jitendra Singh on behalf of Gadkari, O.P. Kohli, BJP Incharge/Prabhari J&K, has written that the decision to appoint him to the BJP National Executive was taken in recognition of Jitendra Singh's clean image and long standing experience of public service.
\Kohli further wrote "Dear Dr Jitendra ji, I have been directed to convey this to you and request you to initiate the process of relinquishing your government job so that the National President formally and officially entrusts you with organizational responsibilities at the national and State level".
Manhas also informed that a massive rally of youth “ Rashtriya Ekta Rally” will be organized at Jammu on January 25 which will be attended by more than 50,000 youth drawn from across the country.
He said this rally will originate from Kolkata on January 12 and after passing through a number of states, it will reach Lakhanpur on January 24 and after holding massive rally at Jammu, the BJYM activists will leave for Kashmir to hoist national tricolor at Lal Chowk in Srinagar city and other two places in Uri and Baramulla on Republic Dday. |
