Bhalla asks officers to reach people, solve hardships | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 3: Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla on Monday chaired a meeting of various departments’ officers and reviewed the progress of development works are being executed in city of temples. Bhalla asked the traffic department to remove traffic congestions on crowded areas where some people park their vehicles on the road side unnecessarily adding that such practices are creating difficulties for the visitors. He asked to ensure to park vehicles on identified parking places. He directed the transport authorities to put challans to those matadors which are not played according to route permits issued by the authorities. He said that Channi Rama, Greater Kailash, Trikuta Nagar, Preet Nagar, Channi Himmat and Digiana people are facing lot of difficulties due to matador services are not available as per route permits. He asked the transport authorities to issue matador permits to those applicants who are applied for mini bus services to Mahamaya temple adding devotees are feeling in convenience due to non-availability of transport services on the route. Regarding land acquisition compensation to Satwari-Kunjwani, Satwari-Airport, Airport-Narwal Pain displaced families, he asked the revenue authorities to complete all the formalities within 15 days so that the compensation could be disbursed among the affectees.
