Jammu, Jan: 04 (JNF):- Second Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Vinod Chatterji Koul today directed Superintendent Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal Jammu to produce accused namely Jatinder Singh alias Raja, Royal Singh, former SSP Manohar Singh, former SHO Sultan Mirza, Sub-Inspector Satnam Singh, ballistic expert FSL Sarwar Hussain Bhukhari, Constable Raj, Choudhary Nagar Singh and Choudhary Rakesh Singh on January 7, 2011 as the record of the case which was called by the High Court has been returned back to the Trial Court. One of the accused, it may be mentioned, had filed a petition u/s 561-A CrPC against the charges framed by the Trial Court.
The statements of the prosecution witnesses could not be recorded on two dates owing to serious ailment of an accused, Royal Singh. Meanwhile, the record was called by the High Court.
It is worth mentioning that Choudhary Rakesh Singh has filed two applications in the Court, one for seeking transfer of Jail another for seeking in- custody bail for allowing him to see his father-in-law, who is seriously ill. JNF
