JKPA extends goodwill gesture towards needy patient | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU Jan 4: Despite the tall claims of government to be number one in health sector, the fact is people are still suffering of various deficiencies. The recent example being the case of one poor woman Pinky who was admitted to SMGS hospital on December 29, 2010 in Ward no. 8. However her operation was not performed because of lack of blood at Blood Bank. Later, her husband approached JKPA for help. After hearing to the poor family, JKPA leaders Dr Gagan R Charak, senior leader and media convener along with President Dr. Vimal Singh Manhas, and other senior members Dr Akash Manhas, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra showed up concern and Dr. Gagan R Charak donated blood for the noble cause . He said: “We are important segment of medical care, government can ignore our need but we serve for the betterment of life of people and even on dharna we are always there to help.” It is pertinent mentioning here that Physiotherapists day and night dharna entered 43rd day today outside Old Div. Comm. Office, Jammu. Continuing with the dharna, they showed up the resentment against the eye wash policies of State Government.
