| Adbi Kunj holds special new year meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 4: Adbi Kunj Jammu, organized its 1st literary meet for the New Year 2011 to day at its literary centre in New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Talab Tillo, Jammu. The literary trends across the various parts of the state, attended the meet in a large number. The organization has been serving the course of creative
literature in the sate for the last 36 years.
This meet was presided over by an eminent Kashmiri and Urdu poet and writer, Nazam-ul-Din of Sopore (Kashmir), while another renowned Gojri and Urdu poet of Tehsil Kangan, District Ganderbal (Kashmir), Choudhary Mohamad Adrees Shah, was the Chief Guest. Wahid Musafar, another Kashmiri and Urdu poet of Srinagar also shared
presidium. In the opening of the meet Sham Talib President of the organization presented good wishes to all the participants and greeting the New year 2011.
In the meet he also remembered, Nargis Sitara, the founder vice president of the organization, who passed away last year. In the meet it was unanimously decided that the organization will be organizing some special tributes functions as a tribute to Nargis
Sitara . As part of the interactive session a special paper Kawan-E-Adbi Kunj was read out by Sham Talib, covering the 36th years contributions of the organization towards the different languages and their literature, for their upliftment.
