Spl athletes, coaches get warm welcome | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Jan 4: To boost the morale of intellectually challenged, Special Athletes of Special Olympics Bharat, Ravinder Kotwal, Inspector General of Police (IGP Armed Police) gave a warm reception to them at M.A Stadium. A contingent of 40 special athletes & 11 Special coaches returned back after participating in week-long Sports Event National Coaching Camp of Badminton at Ludhiana organised by Punjab Chapter of Special Olympics Bharat. Speaking in the medal ceremony, Ravinder Kotwal IGP appreciated the dedication and managing such sports events especially for such intellectually challenged children. The J&K Police feels proud to be associated with Special Olympics Bharat to extend any sort of assistance any time. Dr. Ashvini Jojra, State President, Special Olympics Bharat J&K expressed his gratitude to the Director General of Police for extending full support to Special Olympics Bharat to enhance the strength of State Chapter of Special Olympics Bharat all the times. He also expressed sincere thanks to ADGP K.Rajindra and IGP Ravinder Kotwal for support all the times. While presenting the medals to Special Athletes, IGP was accompanied by DIG Danish Rana, Comdt. Vijay Singh Samyal, Comdt. Vijay Kumar, Comdt. S.L.Kaul, Comdt. Mohd. Amin Khan, Dy. Comdt. Binam Tosh, SP-APCR Sham Sunder, DSP N.K Abrol, DSP Surinder Sharma, DSP L.R. Sharma, State Family President SOB-JK S. Narinder Singh, D.D Khajuria Convener SAHYOG INDIA, Member SOB-JK. Armed Police served packed lunch to special Athletes. Area Director Special Olympics Bharat Mahesh Kinth presented vote to thanks and compared the proceedings of the medal ceremony function.
