Sunny guides NCC Reasi to 4-wkt win in T20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, January 05: Superb innings of 63 runs played by Sunny today guided NCC Reasi to a four wickets win against JCC Jammu in the DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament underway at Sports Stadium, here. Earlier, NCC Reasi won the toss and opted to field. Batting first, JCC Jammu set a target of 162 runs for the loss of seven wickets, which, in reply, NCC Reasi chased making 165 runs in 19.5 overs losing six wickets. Jaswinder was top scorer with 51 (off 35 balls) runs while Sidhant contributed 30-ball 40 runs including five boundaries. From NCC Reasi, Dev took three wickets, followed by Altaf and Sahil, who shared two each. Later, chasing the target, NCC Reasi attained the goal with the help of a boundary. NCC made 165 runs for the loss of six wickets in 19.5 overs. Sunny was star striker, who played match winning innings of 54-ball 63 runs. Paras claimed two wickets for 25 runs from JCC Jammu. For his fine innings, Sunny was declared man of the match. He was presented cash prize and trophy by a local businessman, Sanjay Gupta.
