Baba Bhagta Sadhji anniversary observed | Sham appeals religious organizations to work for social reforms | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 05: Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture Sham Lal Sharma has stressed upon the religious and social organizations to work for bringing social reforms in order to eradicate evils from the society. He asked them to utilize their influence on the younger generation to channelize their energy towards the social service. Addressing a large gathering of people at a function organized to commemorate the anniversary of spiritual Saint Baba Bhagta Sadhji at village Kanger near here, the Minister said that younger generation is ignoring the moral values and Indian culture, which he said could prove disastrous in future. He said that it is need of the hour to mould them towards the high moral values and rich culture and teachings of great saints and sadhus for ensuring communal harmony and brotherhood among various sections of the society. He opined that religious organizations can play a vital role in this direction, said Sharma.
